Writing Prompt No. 13

What rhymes with cat?

at, bat, brat, fat, flat, gnat, hat, mat, pat, prat, rat, sat, tat, that, vat

And some nonsense word-play:

The cat sat on the mat wearing a flat hat next to a bat who had caught a fat gnat.

Above the cat, was a rat rummaging around in the pile of plastic tat that filled the large vat on the kitchen floor.

The young brat made a prat of himself at the place where the fat rats chew on all the cables.

A large hat on a rat.

The vat holds a buzzing ball of teeny tiny biting gnats.

The cricket bat is flat. It pats the fat cat that sits in the hat on the mat during a bright sunny day.

Is there such a thing as a fat gnat?

The rat pats the bat who eats the fat gnat on a Saturday.

The mat is flat.

The brat is fat.

The prat might be a rat.
